My city keeps the ancient walls which kept it secure against enemies in the old ages.
This is one of the old gates of the city with a wooden drawbridge that still working with the original mechanism of iron pulleys and weights. Now is always open and only gets closed for the feast of the Three Wise Men, very popular here. the Wise Men arrive every year and find the door closed. A herald with a trumpet ask in their name to the mayor of the city that order to open the door. Then the city guards lower the drawbridge and the Three kings enter the city riding beautiful horses and wearing fantastic tunics. The children enjoy that ceremony a lot.
