blossom and the crazy street band

These days it’s so hot, that all our plants which had been gloriously blossoming in our patio only a week ago, are now dying dehydrated. We are watering them carefully every day and some are surviving but the weather is too hard for most of them. And they are exposed to the sun all day. No help for that.

We are having an advanced summer time. Streets are full of people. My neighbourhood has plenty of life as ever. Kids are playing in the square, and next to them, a strange group with coloured wigs is singing and playing guitars, keys and drums very noisily, using loudspeakers, mounted in a stroller with which they go from one street to another all around my block.

With all that noise, it’s difficult to focus on anything, because it’s like having them inside our living room. I don’t know what’s the occasion for this street performance. Probably a single party, but on the street. I only hope they’ll finish before 10 pm because I want to watch a movie and with all this noise would be impossible listening to the dialogs.

But my street, my square is always full of life and above all on weekends. I already learned to live with it . It’s funny except when you have a migraine.

Anyway, there is no room for be bored in my quarter. And that’s good.

  1. The bank looks like fun, something coimpletely different to our town. Spain is well known for hot weather, no rain, and probably the plants suffer. But one day it will rain again, probably a torrent.

    • Yeah, The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain… Not really. Here in the north, uses to rain a lot. This is not normal for this time of the year. The bank is fun But they play awfully.
